This is the section of the site that deals with Peppy the Piping Pirate. Said comic is about a panda bear named Akira. Her sidekick is a pirate named Peppy. Together they explore Mexico. This was a daily comic which ran for 101 episodes. There is a 102nd, but part of it was lost, and I found it laying around after finishing the series.
Aargh!

-Peppy the Piping Pirate was the 1st comic that I made. It was inspired by a trip to Mexico I took while staying with some aunts and cousins in Texas. My cousin and I often used the phrase, "In the fun zone." This was supposed to be the key phrase of the series, but it was only used once.
-Ta-kun is a close, personal friend of mine. He was my 1st and only reader. He hated it and joked that I should make a comic about him hating it. So I did. And he's been in it since. Ta-kun's real name is Ryan, but he likes the alias Chad Dixon. Chad is called "sama," (the Japanese suffix to names for a respected person,) because he introduced me to Otaku-hood.
-Peppy wears a kilt that is identical to mine. I often wear the black long-sleeved shirt with my short-sleeved 7N shirt over it. 7N is short for Seven Nations, (www.sevennations.com,) one of my favorite bands. 7N plays Celtic Rock, a genre in which I've experiemented. On the real shirt, though, the 7N is on the back, not the front. Peppy's hat is called a Balmoral.
-Akira is a panda bear. The panda bear is not a bear. It's actually in the raccoon family. The Red Panda looks like a red raccoon.
-Halo, the name I use as an Artist, is a literal manisfestation of myself in the comic.
-The Fun Filled Mariachi is actually an AK-47. It seems that no one knows the difference.
-The Anti-Pyper is the nickname of Neil Anderson, the original bagpiper for Seven Nations.
-One-Eyed Jack, Peppy's Father, is a sort of reference to Crooked Jack, the subject of a song by Seven Nations, about a tall man whose back was warped by working in the coal mines.
-Most of the series isn't supposed to make sense. The forced surprise endings are part of the humor of the site.
-Many complain that it's too similar to "Pokey the Penguin." That was Ta-kun's main complaint. They're both drawn poorly on computers. I feel that Pokey's comics are funnier. Others tell me Peppy is better, but darker. The dialogue, (believe it or not,) makes more sense in Peppy.
